photowalkScott Kelby is the founder of KelbyTraining.com, editor-in-chief for Photoshop User magazine and president of National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP). Over the past three years he’s organized a really cool event called Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk. It’s a social event where photographers get together (usually in a downtown area or trendy section of town) to walk around, shoot photos and generally have fun with other photographers.

The 4th Annual Worldwide Photo Walk is this Saturday and Sunday, October 1-2, 2011. It’s a free event that had more than 1,100 Photo Walks and more than 33,000 people who participated last year.

There are some cool prizes involved and best of all, there’s a giving back aspect to it. Profits from the sale of PhotoWalk T-shirt will go to feeding the kids at the Springs of Hope, Kenya Orphanage.
