Kyle Chowning

Kyle Chowning is the Executive Director and a founding member of Help-Portrait, for which he volunteers his time. He is also the Vice President of Marketing & Communications for Halogen TV, a nationwide television network featuring empowering entertainment that targets and activates a generation that is willing and ready to give back. He is a member of the Cable Television Association for Marketing, PromaxBDA, National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications and the National Cable and Telecommunications Association. He lives in the Charlotte, North Carolina, area with his wife and three children.

Jeremy Cowart

Jeremy Cowart is the founder of Help-Portrait, a worldwide movement of photographers using their time, equipment, and expertise to give back to those less fortunate. Jeremy’s career as a photographer has taken him to six continents. He’s worked with top names in the entertainment industry where his clients range from television and cable networks to top news publications. His philanthropic work behind the camera has been featured in his three photography books and a DVD, as well as in special photo essays published online. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.

Shannon Cowart

Annie Downs

Annie Downs is the events coordinator for Help-Portrait and helps oversee communication for the organization. She’s a freelance writer in Nashville, Tennessee, who received her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia. She’s also the author of From Head to Foot (Westbow Press).

Lori Mahon

Lori Isaacs Mahon became involved with Help-Portrait in November 2009 before the first event in December. As the Help-Portrait publicist, Lori shares the stories each year with the media through publicity. She has been on the board since 2010. Lori is the owner of Overture Media and co-founder of Merge PR, a boutique PR firm in Franklin, TN.

Amy Stanfield

Amy Stanfield became involved in Help Portrait the summer of 2009. She joined the board in 2010, helped as a community overseer, and is leader of the glam team of artists and stylists at Help Portrait events in Nashville. She is an independent makeup artist with over 15 years experience in the retail/makeup industry.
